Despite a shakey first half hour, Saracens picked themselves up from trailing 6-13 to record a fantastic 45-16 win against European giants Biarritz on Saturday. Despite atrocious weather conditions for thes start of the match, Saracens Heineken Cup game produced eleven tries, ten from the Men In Black and one from Viadana. Saracens opening Heineken Cup match of the season was a try-strewn affair. The Men In Black were dominant early on, but a late fight back from Glasgow meant they only just won by two points, 33-31. After a gap of nearly two months while I was recovering from a broken elbow, I finally got to see some live rugby on Sunday, when Saracens thrashed Bristolin their Anglo-Welsh Cup tie at Vicarage Road. I've just returned from a great trip to the opening ceremony, and first games of the Rugby World Cup, where Argentina beat France and England just managed a win over the USA. The atmosphere was fantastic, with fans from all countries having a great time. - Scrum in The Park Again

The French team won the first of two World Cup warmup games at Twickenham yesterday, beating England 21-15.
