Welcome to my new-look website. I have re-organised things a little bit, and given it a fresh lick of paint. I hope you like the improvements. Please let me know if you have any feedback.
I write two blogs on photography. The first is on general photographic topics, while the second is my photo-a-day blog, My Year in Pictures.
A word about categories - if pictures have been taken on a particular trip, they can be found under that holiday's category in the Travel section. Otherwise you will generally find pictures put into the most appropriate category, even if they might fit into more than one. Each will only appear once - I don't want to bore you with duplicates!

I have added a new Latest Images section to the website, showing the last 25 images which have been added to the site. They can potentially live in various different galleries, it can be diffiecult to see what's new, so this is where you can keep up with the latest site additions in one place. - New website launched! on

During March and April, I spent a fortnight taking images based around various colours. I'm gradually posting the results to the Exploring Colour Section, with a gallery for each colour.
